How to Enroll in Our Courses

Our Offerings: We offer our courses in Santa Cruz County, Santa Clara County and Monterey County. We have links to these offerings on our home page.

We have designed a wide variety of courses and offer them on an ongoing basis. We are always developing new courses, too. If you'd like to look at a more comprehensive list of our offerings, please view our Course Descriptions page. If there are specific courses you'd like us to schedule, please send us an e-mail and let us know. We will try our best to accommodate you.

Duration: Learn to Discover offers three different types of courses and activities: Classes, Camps, and Robotics Challenges.

Please note the times and dates of each class on the current offerings page for your geographic area of interest (see above).

Cost: We pride ourselves in trying to keep the cost of these high-quality courses as low as possible. This usually works out to be about $16/hour. Please review the fee information for each class of interest. Rarely, we charge an additional materials fee.

The Registration Process: Our registration process is divided into 2 parts: Sign-Up and Payment.

  1. To Sign Up: Visit our home page to see our current offerings. Click on the Enroll button and follow the instructions to enroll one or more students for one or more classes. When you have completed selecting the students and classes, proceed through the registration screens by entering your contact information, etc. After you have completed the Sign-Up portion of the Registration Process, you will be given a Registration ID and an online receipt, which will also be separately e-mailed to you. At this point, you will choose your method of Payment (this is the second part of the Registration Process).

  2. To Pay: You may pay by any of the following methods:
    • Online. Once you have completed the Sign-Up process, you may pay online. To do so, click on the Submit button. This will take you to a page where you can either:
      • If you don't have a PayPal account: Enter a one-time credit card payment without having to join PayPal, and approve the payment. You may pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover, or
      • If you have a PayPal account: Login to your PayPal account and approve the payment. If you did not pay during the order process and later wish to send us a payment via PayPal, just send your payment to payments@learntodiscover.org.
    • By Mail: Send your check to:

    • By Phone: Call us with your credit card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

    Cancellations: When enrollment is low, we reserve the right to cancel a class. You’ll receive a full refund.

    Returned check: A $25 fee will be charged for each returned check.

    Waiting Lists: If a class is filled, you have the option of being placed on a waiting list.

    Refunds: We’ll give a full refund up to 2 weeks before the course begins, less a $20 processing fee. Less than 2 weeks before the course begins, we’ll give a full refund only if space can be filled from a waiting list, less a $20 processing fee.
